Bernhard Gerwert
Senior Advisory Committee
ACTRANS Managementberatung für Aerospace und DefenceBernhard Gerwert has more than 35 years of experience in the defense and aerospace industry. He has worked in a variety of senior executive positions at Airbus Defense and Space as well as their predecessor companies.
From 2013 to mid-2016, he served as CEO of Airbus Defense and Space. Under his leadership the defense and space business was merged and re-focused on the core business, military aircraft and space.
Mr. Gerwert is active in various companies as an advisory or supervisory board member and headed the BDLI’s “Corona Task Force” in 2020 to guide the supplier industry of the aerospace industry safely through the Corona crisis.

ACTRANS Managementberatung für Aerospace und DefenceBodo Garbe has more than 30 years of experience in the defense industry. His professional path includes Rheinmetall Weapon & Ammunition, Nitrochemie Group, Rheinmetall Air Defense and Rheinmetall Electronic Solutions.
Bodo Garbe was a member of the Board of Management of Rheinmetall Defense, as well as head of the Electronic Solutions Division with the Defense Electronics, Simulation and Training, Air Defense and Rheinmetall Technical Publications Business Units.
